Lonnie Wheatley, TUCSON, Ariz. (October 2, 2010) – Johnny Herrera snared his fourth American Sprint Car Series Southwest Regional win of the year by taking top honors in Saturday night’s 25-lap main event at USA Raceway.
After starting third, Herrera beat Calvin Landis to the stripe with John Carney II, Kyle McCutcheon and current series points leader Rick Ziehl rounding out the top five.
Joshua Hodges was sixth, with John Gaston, 17th-starter Kyle Sager, Joshua Williams and Marty Wilcox completing the top ten.
Ziehl, Herrera and McCutcheon won Saturday night’s heat races.
