Herrera and Van Dam Earn Victories for Team ILP

Inside Line Promotions – LEWISTOWN, Pa. (Sept. 29, 2016) – Inside Line Promotions drivers Johnny Herrera and Henry Van Dam each recorded a win last weekend.

Herrera capitalized on a late-race restart to capture the opening night of the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour’s Hockett/McMillin Memorial on Thursday at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Mo.

Van Dam powered from eighth to claim the Summer Thunder Sprint Series triumph at Central Washington State Fair Raceway in Yakima, Wash., on Saturday.

Other Team ILP competitors with at least one top-five finish include:

Sammy Swindell scored runner-up results on Thursday and Saturday at the Hockett/McMillin Memorial and a third-place finish on Friday during the ASCS National Tour event at Lucas Oil Speedway.

Zach Blurton placed second on Friday at U.S. 30 Raceway in Columbus, Neb., and third on Saturday at Dodge City Raceway Park in Dodge City, Kan.

Derek Hagar earned a second-place result with the WAR Sprint Car Series on Friday and he pocketed fifth-place finishes in winged and non-wing action on Saturday at Lucas Oil Speedway during the Hockett/McMillin Memorial.

Joe Trenca garnered his fifth top five of the season on Sunday at Rolling Wheels Raceway Park in Elbridge, N.Y., where he ended fourth.

Tony Bruce Jr. drove to a fourth-place finish on Friday at the Hockett/McMillin Memorial hosted by Lucas Oil Speedway.

Jack Dover advanced to a fifth-place result at Lucas Oil Speedway on Friday during the Hockett/McMillin Memorial.
