Bryan Hulbert - MESQUITE, Texas (October 13, 2022) Getting back behind the wheel this weekend, Johnny Herrera will be in action with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network at the Devil's Bowl Winter Nationals in Mesquite, Texas.
Piloting the Morton Excavating No. 45x on Friday, October 14, and Saturday, October 15, the Devil's Bowl is among Herrera's favorite tracks and has been on the radar all season. Johnny's record at the half-mile includes three National Tour scores.
The fifth and sixth events for Herrera in 2022, Johnny's turns behind the wheel have been in Montana, and yielded a pair of top five, and four top ten finishes.
Friday, October 14, and Saturday, October 15 will see Pits open at Noon each day, with racing at 7:00 P.M. on Friday and 8:00 P.M. (CDT). Tickets each night are $25 for adults, $15 for Seniors (60+), $15 for Military and Youth (13-15), and free for Kids 12 and under. Pit Passes are $35.
